  • Manufactured from certified AISI 8620 steel for superior strength and durability.
  • Crankpins made from ASTM 4115 hot-rolled steel, hardened through to 58–62 Rc (Rockwell C) to ensure long life.
  • Equipped with the latest needle bearing designs to improve longevity at high rpm.
  • The big end is specially machined with side reliefs and ventilation slots to reduce deformation of the needle bearing cage at high engine speeds.
  • Small ends are double-drilled to provide extra lubrication and cooling to the piston wrist-pin bearing, particularly useful when the piston crown is close to the bearing.
  • Peened areas remove crack initiators and blend radii on the forged rod, increasing resistance to cyclic stress.
  • Double grinding/finishing is performed to guarantee an ultra-circular bearing surface, ensuring optimal reliability at high rpm.
  • Most rod kits ship complete: connecting rod, crankpin, crankpin bearing, small-end bushing, and silver phosphor‑bronze thrust washers.
