Needle bearing cages optimized for high RPM, ventilated big ends and drilled small ends for lubrication; shot-peened and double-polished. Supplied complete with bearings and bronze washers, compatible with Hot Rods and OEM crankshafts.

  • Made from certified AISI 8620 steel, providing superior mechanical strength.
  • Crank pins manufactured from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 steel, through-hardened to 58–62 Rc.
  • Equipped with the latest caged needle bearing designs to ensure long service life at high engine speeds.
  • The big end features lateral cutouts and strategically placed ventilation slots to reduce cage distortion at high speed.
  • The small ends are double-drilled to provide additional lubrication and cooling to the piston pin bearing, particularly useful when the piston crown passes close to the bearing.
  • Shot peening treatment to eliminate crack initiators and achieve a smooth, durable rod fillet transition.
  • Double honing of the bearing surfaces to achieve ultra-round geometry and optimal high-speed reliability.
  • Most rod kits are supplied complete: connecting rod, crank pin, crankpin bearing, small-end bearing and silver-plated phosphor bronze thrust washers.
