  • Body made from certified AISI 8620 steel, ensuring high mechanical strength and superior longevity.
  • Crank pins (rod journal pins) manufactured from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 steel and through-hardened to a Rockwell C hardness of 58–62 Rc.
  • Incorporates the latest needle bearing cage designs, optimized to ensure reliable longevity at high engine speeds.
  • Big end specially designed with lateral cutouts and strategically placed ventilation slots to limit bearing cage deformation at high speed.
  • Small ends double-drilled to provide additional lubrication and cooling to the piston pin (wrist pin) bearing, particularly useful when the piston crown is close to the bearing.
  • Shot peening (shot blasting) treatment to eliminate crack initiation sites and ensure a more uniform radius transition on the connecting rod.
  • Double honing to achieve an ultra-round bearing surface, ensuring increased reliability at high RPM.
  • Most rod sets ship complete: connecting rod, crank pin, rod journal bearing, small end bearing, and silver-phosphor bronze thrust washers.
