  • Crank pins (rod journals) are manufactured from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 and heat-treated through to 58–62 HRC for optimal hardness and reliability.
  • Incorporate the latest caged needle bearing designs to ensure reliable longevity in high-speed operation.
  • The big end is designed with side cutouts and strategically placed ventilation slots to limit cage deformation at high speeds.
  • The small ends are double-drilled to provide additional lubrication and cooling to the piston pin bearing, especially useful when the piston crown is close to the bearing.
  • Shot-peened to remove crack initiation sites and ensure a smooth radius transition on the rod.
