  • Compatible with high-performance engines featuring a 4.000" cylinder bore.
  • Cam chest offset 0.250" outward to accommodate large bore diameters.
  • Clearanced for 5.000" strokes.
  • Repositioned camshaft oiler to improve oil scavenging in the gearcase and reduce long-term high‑rpm oil transfer to near zero.
  • Designed to accept the OEM oil filter assembly from 1992–1999 Big Twin models.
  • Revised breather passage and machined breather window promote flow of the air/oil mist from the lower end to the cam chest with minimal restriction.
  • Crankcase ventilation can be routed through two external breather filters, through the cylinder heads, or a combination; S&S recommends using both external breather filters for engines over 95".
  • Deck height: 5.875".
  • Made in the USA.
  • Machined for installation of a crankshaft position sensor, making the cases compatible with EFI applications and simplifying installation of S&S IST ignition and VFI fuel-injection systems; wiring kit included.
  • For S&S cases produced after June 1, 2008: no interlocking groove or ring, and no alignment studs; flat mating surface with alignment provided by locating dowels.
