  • Perfectly aligned bearing races and a precisely machined breather cavity to optimize breather timing for maximum oil scavenging
  • Machined for 3.4375" cylinders and tapped 1/4"-20 for the gear covers, oil pump, tappet guides, and timing advance unit
  • Uses Timken-type pinion shaft bearings
  • 1965 models use the ’65-alloy inner primary case
  • Drilled for 5/16" generator mounting bolts

  • The generator gearcase gear kit (including breaker drive gear, idler gear, breaker gear, and shims) and shafts are sold separately
  • For 1963–1965 models with external oil lines, use the oil port at the rear of the tappet block or the oil port on the timing gearcase and use specific oil lines
