  • Direct replacement for the 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission for Harley‑Davidson, designed to install in place of the original unit.
  • Adds a 7th gear that allows full use of the torque and power of 96 ci, 103 ci and 110 ci engines thanks to optimized transmission ratio management.
  • Unlike the original main shaft that houses 1st through 4th gears, the DD7 is lightened and contains only the small 1st gear, reducing noise during shifts.
  • Shortened 1st gear and closer ratios for smoother, more powerful riding, with continuous and consistent acceleration from 1st to 4th gear.
  • Shifting is softened by a new linear ball mechanism integrated into the machined upper cover supplied with the kit.
  • Ready to be mounted on the motorcycle without modifying the transmission case or the need to adjust the entire gearset.
  • The 7th main gear, the associated bearing and the main seal are provided to replace the original 6th gear.
  • The kit also includes the new main gear bearing and seal, a polished bearing carrier, carrier gasket, side cover gasket, upper cover gasket and a DD7 sticker for the side cover.
  • Bearing carrier machined from 6061‑T6 aluminum, equipped with widened bearings and retaining plates that replace the original circlips for improved robustness.
  • Included: 12‑point ARP bolts for the carrier, the upper cover and the original side cover; the Baker Re‑Cal box and required cables are included.
  • The DD7 carrier bearings offer a 28% greater width compared to the original bearings, enhancing durability and stability.
  • Uses the F6F bearing carrier retaining plate reference for assembly.
  • The original shift selector arm is reused, avoiding replacement of that part.
