  • Developed for off-road competition, this lightweight helmet is designed to deliver an optimal balance of advanced ventilation and comfort, with an aerodynamically profiled composite shell ensuring top-tier impact protection.
  • A-Head fit system and visor release: the S-M7 integrates PLASMA technology along the lower rim of the shell for optimal energy dissipation in the event of contact with the collarbone area.
  • Key features
  • Aerodynamic profile with a smooth, clean shell, free of external channels or appendages that could create a snag point on impact or compromise the helmet’s structural integrity.
  • Shell curvature engineered to limit friction during an impact, promote deflection, and optimize energy transfer, thereby protecting the rider’s head from direct forces as well as those transmitted to the neck and spine.
  • Extreme ventilation: 20 individual ports positioned out of the field of view, including 13 intakes and 7 exhausts, for continuous, efficient airflow.
  • Customizable fit thanks to Alpinestars replacement cheek pads, available in all thicknesses and interchangeable across all shell sizes.
  • Communication system compatibility: dedicated cutout on the left side of the EPS to integrate an intercom, with speaker pockets on both sides.

  • Fully removable liners, hand-washable in lukewarm water with a mild soap to preserve their properties.
  • Textiles treated with antimicrobial finishes for lasting hygiene.
  • Crown pad: the crown liner and neck roll are connected by an elastic link to enhance oblique impact management.
  • Top pad: removable upper padding with height adjustment via the A-Head system.
  • Cheek pads: 3D design with Emergency Release System (ERS) and a channel for installing a hydration tube.
  • Cheek pads interchangeable across all sizes for fine-tuning the fit.
  • Chin strap: 25 mm nylon strap, stainless-steel double-D rings, and removable covers for easy washing.
  • Integrated channels on each side to accommodate a hydration system.
  • Protection
  • The visor release mechanism is designed to overcome the weaknesses of traditional mounting systems and ensure safe release in the event of an impact.
  • Visor engineered to automatically separate from the shell when impact energy exceeds 15 joules, regardless of the direction of the impact.
  • PLASMA inside: Alpinestars’ PLASMA technology is strategically positioned in the S-M7’s side padding for effective impact absorption in a critical area, significantly reducing the risk of injury.
