  • Developed for off‑road competition, the S‑M7 helmet combines superior ventilation and comfort in a lightweight construction, thanks to a highly aerodynamic composite shell that offers high impact protection.
  • Equipped with an A‑Head adjustment system and a visor release mechanism; the lower edge of the shell incorporates PLASMA technology to best dissipate energy in the event of contact with the clavicle area.
  • Main features of the S‑M7 model
  • Refined aerodynamic profile: smooth, clean shell with no external ducts or parts that could create load points in an impact or compromise structural integrity.
  • The shell’s curved shape reduces friction during an impact, promoting glancing and a more evenly distributed energy transfer to protect the rider’s head, neck and spine.
  • Very high ventilation: 20 individual air inlet and outlet ports (excluding the eye port), including 13 inlets and 7 outlets, for optimized airflow in race conditions.
  • Customizable fit thanks to Alpinestars interchangeable cheek pads, available in multiple thicknesses and compatible across all shell sizes.
  • Compatible with a communication system — cutout provided on the left side of the EPS to accommodate an intercom, with speaker locations on both sides.

  • Fully removable linings, hand washable with warm water and a mild soap for simple, safe care.
  • Fabrics treated with antimicrobials to limit odors and preserve the helmet’s interior hygiene.
  • Top and rear pads connected by an elastic element to improve the management of oblique impacts.
  • Removable Top Pad adjustable in height via the A‑Head system for precise, comfortable positioning.

  • The visor automatically detaches from the shell when impact energy exceeds 15 joules, regardless of direction, ensuring controlled release in the event of an accident.
  • PLASMA inside: Alpinestars’ PLASMA technology is strategically integrated into the S‑M7’s lateral foams to effectively absorb impacts in a critical area and significantly reduce the risk of injury.
