Once at temperature, the VRF closes the bypass and sends the filtered oil to the cooler. Made in the USA. Kit includes: VRF plug, spring, single button-head, O-ring, gasket.

  • Replaces the thermostatic element of the offset oil filter adapter with a new VRF (Viscosity Regulated Flow) actuator
  • After filtration, oil is routed either to the oil cooler or through the bypass, depending on the integrated VRF function: when the oil is cold and viscous, it bypasses the cooler to speed warm-up
  • Once the engine reaches operating temperature and optimal oil viscosity, the VRF plug keeps the bypass port closed, sends the hot filtered oil to the oil cooler, and supplies the engine with clean, cool oil
  • Made in the USA
