  • Renthal Lock-On grips use CNC-machined aluminum clamping collars, permanently bonded to the inner core for a secure hold in all weather. This integrated architecture eliminates any play between the grip and the collars. As a critical contact point for bike control, the grip features an aramid resin compound that delivers a plush feel, confident traction, and outstanding durability.
  • The Traction pattern is engineered to deliver optimal control in all conditions. Added mechanical grip ensures a firm, consistent hold regardless of the weather.
  • Renthal Lock-On Traction Aramid: engineered to go faster, jump farther, and last longer.
  • Forward-facing ridges under the fingers: when pulling on the handlebar, traction is concentrated on the fingers. These grooves boost grip under load while remaining flat to preserve comfort during everyday riding.
  • Rearward-facing ridges on the palm side: during braking or descending, pressure shifts to the palm. The grooves enhance grip while ensuring a comfortable feel while riding.
  • Uniform pattern: raised elements and grooves spread across the full width of the grip, ensuring optimal traction regardless of hand position.
  • Open ends: designed to shed mud in the event of a crash in extreme conditions.
  • Variable material thickness: thicker under the palm for better damping, thinner under the fingers to maintain the outer diameter.
  • Premium aramid compound: Renthal Aramid grips use an advanced formulation with millions of suspended Kevlar® aramid resin particles. With use, more aramid material becomes exposed, increasing wear resistance while maintaining excellent grip. Our benchmark blend.
