- Instructions:
- Surface preparation
- 1. Thoroughly wash your bike with Nano Tech Bike Cleaner, Punk Powder, or Snow Foam, then dry it completely before applying the coating.
- 2. Depending on the condition of the paint or substrate, perform any necessary corrections (swirls, water spots, scratches). Because the product is very durable, it will lock in any surface imperfections left behind.
- 3. Remove any polish or wax residue by wiping all painted areas with the prep spray. Mist onto a microfiber and wipe.
- Ceramic coating application
- 1. Ideally work indoors, in a clean, cool, dry, well-ventilated, well-lit area. For non-original surfaces, spot-test on a discreet area first.
- 2. Shake the bottle vigorously for 10 seconds to activate the formula.
- 3. Wear protective gloves during application.
- 4. Open the child-safety cap, then apply a thin, even layer using the supplied microfiber. (A small amount goes a long way.)
- 5. Start with the highest areas and cross-hatch your passes to ensure full coverage. Work one bike tube or panel at a time. Take your time for a slow, precise application.
- 6. Add a little more product to the pad if application becomes uneven or the microfiber no longer glides smoothly.
- 7. Allow the wet layer to flash for 5 minutes: a rainbow-like iridescent haze will appear. Check coverage, then gently buff in circular motions with the microfiber until you achieve a mirror finish. Inspect from multiple angles to remove any iridescence. Do not let it dry for more than 5 minutes; wipe off any excess.
- 8. After buffing, allow to cure for 24 hours in a cool, dry place before any contact with water or the elements. (For optimal results and maximum bonding, avoid washing for at least 48 hours.)
- 9. To extend durability, you can apply a second layer once the first has fully cured, with no additional prep. Simply repeat the steps above.
- 10. Use within 6 months of opening the bottle.

- Maintenance / cleaning
- 1. To properly preserve the coating, use only Nano Tech Bike Cleaner, Punk Powder, or Snow Foam. Avoid solvents and acidic cleaners, which accelerate degradation.
- 2. Keep the surface clean to maintain hydrophobic properties.
- 3. If the beading effect diminishes over time, reactivate the coating. Maintenance every 6 months is recommended for optimal performance.
