  • Ensures full opening of the transverse sump channel and allows the oil pump to draw the maximum amount of oil.
  • Fuel plug height of 0.265" versus 0.465" in stock configuration.
  • The main transverse passage of the M8 case, within the M8 engine crankcase, is located at a slightly different position and height on each case; this passage is created during factory machining and tapping of the lower hole, which drills through the casting wall and thus forms the sump passage.
  • On the Twin Cam engine, the transverse recovery hole is machined and drilled and is always in the same position on each case.
