  • Tip for measuring bolt center-to-center spacing: if you don't have calipers to measure the center-to-center distance of the bolts on your stock fuel petcock, bend a stiff wire into a U-shape, place its ends on the bolt heads, then transfer that distance to a ruler to measure it.
