  • All position indications are given from the rider's seated position on the motorcycle, using the petcock outlet relative to its ON, RESERVE and OFF positions as reference.
  • How to measure bolt center-to-center spacing: if you don't have calipers to measure the center-to-center distance of the bolts on your original petcock, bend a stiff wire into a U shape (horseshoe), place the ends on the bolt heads, then transfer that distance to a ruler.
