  • ProX cast pistons ensure high dimensional stability and reliable in-service performance.
  • These cast pistons are produced by gravity casting into an aluminum alloy containing approximately 18% silicon.
  • The high silicon content plays a key role in limiting the thermal expansion of the pistons.
  • ProX two-stroke pistons are designed for cast-iron cylinder liners as well as for Nikasil-coated liners.
  • For Nikasil liners, ProX offers several oversizes identified as sizes A/B/C/D, each size corresponding to a diameter increase of 0.01 mm.
