  • ProX cast pistons ensure excellent operational stability.
  • The manufacture of ProX cast pistons is carried out by gravity casting in an aluminum alloy containing approximately 18% silicon.
  • The presence of silicon in the alloy is essential: it helps reduce the piston’s thermal expansion.
  • ProX pistons for two-stroke engines are specially produced to fit cast-iron cylinder liners as well as Nikasil-coated cylinder liners.
  • For Nikasil cylinder liners, ProX offers several oversizes available under the designations A, B, C, and D.
  • Each oversize increment (A/B/C/D) corresponds to a diameter increase of 0.01 mm.
