  • ProX pistons generally retain the original (OEM) configurations, while being modified when ProX engineers identify opportunities to enhance performance.
  • ProX cast pistons provide high stability, both dimensional and functional, for reliable engine operation.
  • These cast pistons are produced by gravity casting in an aluminum alloy containing approximately 18% silicon.
  • The presence of silicon in the alloy plays a key role in reducing thermal expansion, which helps maintain dimensional tolerances and part durability.
  • ProX two-stroke pistons are designed to be compatible with cast-iron cylinder liners as well as Nikasil-treated liners.
  • For Nikasil cylinder liners, ProX offers several oversize options labeled A/B/C/D, each letter corresponding to a diameter increase of 0.01 mm.
