  • ProX cast pistons provide excellent stability, ensuring reliable dimensional integrity during operation.
  • Produced by gravity casting, these pistons are made from an aluminum alloy containing approximately 18% silicon to combine strength and lightness.
  • The silicon content is a key factor in the composition: it helps reduce thermal expansion and improves the piston's behavior in response to temperature variations.
  • These pistons are specially developed for two-stroke engines and are compatible with cast-iron cylinder liners as well as Nikasil-type coatings.
  • For use with Nikasil sleeves, ProX offers several oversizes identified by sizes A, B, C and D, each step corresponding to an increase in diameter of 0.01 mm.
