The PowerFlow Twin Air kit replaces the plastic airbox housing with a rigid aluminum one (with a machined flange if required) for perfect sealing and improved airflow. Custom-made, it removes the restrictive grille, eases maintenance, and includes a pre-oiled BIO Factory filter. The YZ450F 10–13 kit includes a complete airbox.

  • A high-performance filter isn't enough if the airbox seal lets air leak: Twin Air's PowerFlow kits ensure a durable, airtight fit thanks to a rigid, lightweight aluminum cage that replaces the original plastic cage; if needed, a machined aluminum flange can also be securely attached to the airbox to eliminate any leaks.
  • Each PowerFlow kit is custom-designed for the specific application: it optimizes airflow, increases the sealing surface, removes the restrictive anti-return screen and simplifies maintenance.
  • All kits include a pre-oiled BIO Factory air filter ready to use; replacement elements are available separately.
  • Kits for 2-stroke engines feature a Twin Air filter and a billet aluminum cage — rigid and lightweight — which replaces the fragile original plastic cage and ensures a perfect seal with the airbox.
  • The kit for 4-stroke engines replaces the flame-arrestor screen that restricts airflow with a laminated internal screen fitted with a layer of flame-retardant foam.
  • The specific kit for the YZ450F model (2010–2013) additionally includes a complete airbox that increases intake volume, as well as an exhaust plug, a cage and an installation kit.
