  • Construction: outer PVC coating, PTFE inner tube and stainless steel braided sheath
  • The PTFE inner tube is an inert material, compatible with all hydraulic and brake fluids; it operates in a temperature range of -106 °C to 260 °C (-158 °F to 500 °F) and protects braking systems from moisture, unlike other materials such as nylon
  • The outer PVC coating provides a neat appearance, protects expensive components from abrasion, makes cleaning easier and offers good UV resistance
  • The stainless steel braided sheath offers improved characteristics in terms of pressure rating, fire resistance and low volumetric expansion compared to other materials, including aramid; for optimal braking performance
  • High speeds, rapid gear changes and heavy braking subject competition hydraulic systems to extreme stress; a failure can have serious consequences
  • The 600 series strongly resists expansion under high pressure and temperature, ensuring consistent pressure at the brake and clutch pedal for firmer, more effective action, eliminating spongy feeling
