Econo BeeHive® kit made in the USA from heat-treated, oval-conical chromoly wire, hand-measured and bench- and track-tested. Includes BeeHive® springs, lightweight 7° steel or titanium retainers, machined chromoly seats, shims, keepers and Viton® seals; reduces valve weight for quicker response, supports up to 0.585" and fits as a direct, no-machining replacement on '84-'04 Big Twin, '86-'03 XL and '05-'17 Twin Cam.

  • Springs manufactured from oval conical chromoly wire, heat-treated for optimal strength and durability.
  • Each spring is hand-measured and labeled according to its wind and required open height for precise assembly.
  • Design uses a much smaller, lighter retainer spring to reduce the valve's reciprocating mass, promoting quicker revving and smoother operation.
  • Components dyno-tested and validated under track conditions to ensure reliability in demanding use.
  • The kit includes: Econo BeeHive® valve springs, lightweight cups (steel or titanium) at 7°, machined chromoly spring seats, heat-treated, shims, keepers, and a set of premium Viton® valve stem seals equipped with a spring-type wiper system.
  • Allows lifts up to 0.585".
  • Seat load / installed height specifications:
  • 183 lb at 1.760" (corresponding to a lift of 0.510").
  • 175 lb at 1.785" (lift of 0.535").
  • 172 lb at 1.803" (lift of 0.553").
  • 165 lb at 1.825" (lift of 0.574").
  • 163 lb at 1.835" (lift of 0.585").
  • Open-height force: 380 lb at 1.250".

  • EU: Designed to meet the demands of high-performance engines equipped with camshafts with lifts up to 1.486 cm.
  • Feuling® BeeHive® valve springs must be installed at the appropriate open height, observing the maximum lift and the specified open height.
  • The Econo BeeHive® kit is a direct replacement requiring no machining or modification of the rocker box; compatible with camshafts up to 0.574" lift for '84–'04 Big Twin and '86–'03 XL models, and up to 0.585" lift on '05–'17 Twin Cam.
