S&S Gear-Drive Cam Kit: reverses the rear cam’s rotation for increased clearance and lift, and eliminates chain lash for precise timing. Strong torque from 1,500–5,000 rpm. Includes cams, inner/outer gears, bearings, and gasket. Installation: case machining and a hydraulic press required; replace bearings/seals. Made in the USA. May produce some noise. Not recommended above 10.1:1.

  • Reverses the rotation of the rear camshaft to increase clearance between the lobes, allowing greater cam lift
  • Improves valve timing accuracy by eliminating timing chain whip and the play found in the stock chain
  • Delivers strong torque and pronounced low-end power
  • Ideal operating range between 1,500 and 5,000 rpm
  • Requires removal of material from the inside surface of the stock crankcase to allow installation
  • Requires the use of a hydraulic press and other professional tools during installation
  • Requires replacement of camshaft bearings and seals
