A major advance since the 1950s, the hourglass-shaped wear bar delivers better high-speed cornering control without extra steering effort. It captures snow at the sides for more precise tracking, reduces turning radius by 1 to 2 feet in loose snow, and is 20% lighter than 1/2‑inch round bars (which are zinc-plated and have comparable wear). Made by Stud Boy, designed and tested by USI; some models require additional drilling.
