  • Economical starters designed with bearings that are stronger and more durable than the originals.
  • Many original equipment (OEM) starters use an unprotected needle output bearing located outside the shaft seal; moisture can enter the starter motor's output cap and travel up the armature shaft to the exposed needle bearing, causing corrosion.
  • Rick's improves this design by incorporating a double-sealed ball bearing and positioning the shaft seal outside the bearing on their new aftermarket unit.
  • Thoughtful design: the outer bearing is protected from water and the sealed ball bearing is replaceable for easier maintenance.
