  • Economical starters designed with bearings that are more robust and longer-lasting than the original components.
  • On many OEM starters, the output needle bearing is located outside the output shaft seal and left unprotected; as a result, moisture can enter the electric motor housing and reach that bearing, causing it to corrode.
  • To address this issue, Rick's equips its new replacement unit with a double-sealed ball bearing, positioning the shaft seal outside the bearing.
  • This clever configuration prevents water from reaching the outer bearing and increases protection against corrosion.
  • Additionally, the design allows the sealed ball bearing to be replaced, making maintenance easier and extending the unit's service life.
