  • Economy starters engineered with bearings that are more durable than the originals for improved longevity.
  • On many original starters, the output support (needle bearing) sits outside the shaft seal and is unprotected; this leaves it exposed to moisture infiltration.
  • Moisture can enter the starter motor’s output cap and reach the bearing, causing corrosion and premature failure.
  • Rick’s improves the design by fitting its new aftermarket unit with a double-sealed ball bearing and by placing the shaft seal outside the bearing for enhanced protection.
  • Thoughtful design: the outer bearing is protected from water, and the sealed ball bearing is easily replaceable for easier maintenance.
