  • Many OEM starters incorporate an unprotected output needle bearing located outside the shaft seal; moisture can then enter the electric motor end cap and reach the bearing, causing corrosion
  • Rick's improves this design by installing a double-sealed ball bearing, with the output shaft seal positioned outside the bearing on its new aftermarket unit
