  • Affordable starters equipped with bearings designed to provide a longer service life than the original bearings.
  • On many original starters, the output needle bearing is positioned outside the shaft seal and remains unprotected; moisture can then seep into the motor end cap and reach this bearing, causing it to corrode.
  • Rick's goes further by incorporating a double-sealed ball bearing into its new aftermarket unit, with the shaft seal located outside the bearing.
  • This clever design serves two complementary purposes: it protects the outer bearing from water and makes the sealed ball bearing replaceable.
