  • Economy starters equipped with bearings designed to last longer than the originals.
  • On many original starters, the output needle bearing is unprotected and located outside the shaft seal; moisture can then enter the starter motor's output cap and reach the bearing, causing it to corrode.
  • Rick's fixes this by incorporating a double-sealed ball bearing into its new aftermarket unit, with the shaft seal positioned outside the bearing.
  • Thoughtful design: the outer bearing is protected against water, and the sealed ball bearing is designed to be replaceable, making maintenance easier and extending the unit's service life.
