  • Economy starters equipped with bearings designed to be more durable than the originals.
  • On many original starters, an output needle bearing is unprotected and located outside the shaft seal; moisture can then enter the starter motor's output cap and reach the bearing, causing it to corrode.
  • Rick's improves this design by installing, in its new aftermarket unit, a double-sealed ball bearing and positioning the output shaft seal outside the bearing.
  • Smart design: the outer bearing is protected from water and the sealed ball bearing can be replaced if necessary.
