  • Economy starters equipped with bearings engineered to provide a longer service life than the original bearings.
  • On many OEM starters, the output needle bearing is exposed outside the shaft seal; as a result, moisture can enter the electric motor housing and reach the bearing, causing it to corrode.
  • Rick's fits its new replacement part with a double-sealed ball bearing, positioning the output shaft seal outside the bearing to improve protection.
  • This clever solution serves two complementary purposes: effectively protect the outer bearing from water and enable replacement of the sealed ball bearing.
