  • Economical starters fitted with bearings that offer greater durability than original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts.
  • On many OEM starters, the output needle bearing is located outside the shaft seal and is unprotected: moisture can enter the motor end cap, travel up the armature shaft and reach this exposed bearing, causing corrosion.
  • Rick's incorporates a double-sealed ball bearing into its new aftermarket unit, placing the output shaft seal outside the bearing to better protect the assembly.
  • Ingenious design that protects the outer bearing from water while allowing the sealed ball bearing to be replaced, for simplified maintenance and increased longevity.
