  • Economical starters engineered with reinforced bearings, offering a longer service life than the original bearings.
  • Many OEM starters use an unprotected needle output bearing located outside the shaft seal; in this configuration, moisture can enter the electric motor housing and reach the bearing, causing premature corrosion.
  • On its new replacement part, Rick's fits a double-sealed ball bearing and positions the output shaft seal outside that bearing, improving sealing and protection.
  • This clever design achieves two goals: protecting the outer bearing from water and allowing replacement of the sealed ball bearing, simplifying maintenance and extending the starter's reliability.
