  • Economy starters designed to provide bearings that are much more durable than the original equipment ones, for increased longevity.
  • On many OEM models, the output needle bearing is left unprotected outside the shaft seal; moisture can then enter the starter motor's output cap and reach the bearing, causing premature corrosion.
  • Rick's improves this design by fitting its new aftermarket unit with a double-sealed ball bearing and locating the shaft seal outside the bearing, preventing water and moisture from reaching the sensitive area.
  • Clever design: the outer bearing receives effective water protection, while the sealed ball bearing is designed to be replaceable, making maintenance easier and extending the starter's service life.
