  • Nippondenso starters assembled in the United States from reinforced components and inspected on state-of-the-art equipment
  • The solenoid plunger, return damper, and springs have been replaced with reinforced components
  • The clutch shaft and rollers are replaced with parts that have been ground and then heat-treated (quenched) to extend their service life
  • All components are assembled using a grease specifically formulated for starter freewheel applications
  • The mounting brackets are CNC-machined and secured with aerospace-grade fasteners
  • After assembly, each starter undergoes bench testing including high- and low-voltage checks, stall torque measurement, and verification of solenoid engagement
  • Tests also include measurement of current draw (amperage), load testing, verification of maximum speed, and analysis of the starter motor pulse waveform
