  • Plug-in upgrade designed to replace the electronic advance ignition on recent Harley models, featuring microprocessor-controlled electronics for very precise ignition timing control.
  • Allows adjustment of the advance curve and the rev limiter to suit the engine's specific needs: four built-in advance curves cover engines from stock to highly modified, and four separate rev-limiter settings provide optimized protection between 6000 and 7500 rpm.
  • PC-programmable to precisely define advance curves at full and part throttle, set rev limits, adjust the number of engine revolutions required for starting, and correct the rear cylinder timing offset.
  • Dedicated tachometer output (separate wire) enabling clean, reliable tach operation even during limiter cut and in single-fire mode.
  • Diagnostic LED located at the rear of the control module to simplify troubleshooting and assist with static timing of the system.
  • Product made in the USA.
  • IMPORTANT: For any advanced-type electronic ignition (for example Dyna 2000‑HD1 or the factory Harley ignition), it is imperative to use carbon-suppression (carbon-fiber) spark plug wires to reduce radio interference. Using copper-core wires can cause malfunctions due to electrical noise generated at the plugs. Factory Harley‑Davidson wires are suitable.
  • Not compatible with fuel-injected models.
  • HDE systems are not compatible with Dyna “S” systems; use only with HD1/HD2 systems.
