  • Plug-in upgrade designed to replace the electronic advance ignition on recent Harley models, featuring microprocessor control for highly precise ignition timing.
  • Allows adjustment of the timing curve and rev limiter to suit specific engine requirements: four built-in timing curves cover configurations from stock engines to heavily modified engines; four independent rev-limiter settings available between 6000 and 7500 rpm for appropriate protection.
  • PC-programmable, offering the ability to precisely define full-throttle and part-throttle timing curves, set rev limits, specify engine RPM for ignition, and apply an offset for the rear cylinder.
  • A dedicated output wire for the tachometer ensures a clean and reliable RPM readout, even when the rev limiter is active or in single-fire mode.
  • Diagnostic LED located on the rear of the control module to facilitate troubleshooting and make static timing easier.

  • IMPORTANT: For any advanced electronic ignition (for example Dyna 2000-HD1 or the original Harley ignition), it is imperative to use suppression spark plug wires with a carbon-core to reduce radio interference. Using copper-core wires can cause malfunctions due to electrical noise generated at the plugs. Original Harley-Davidson wires are compatible.
  • Not compatible with fuel-injected models.
  • HDE systems are not compatible with Dyna "S" systems; use only HD1/HD2 systems.
