  • Mousse inserts are rubber rings designed for off-road use that not only provide effective puncture protection in the most demanding off-road conditions, but also deliver a progressive response that enhances traction, carcass compliance, and lateral grip.
  • Once installed, these inserts simulate an internal pressure equivalent to 0.7 bar ± 0.1, a value significantly lower than the pressures recommended for standard road use.
  • As a result, it is essential to precisely fine-tune the suspension settings when competing with vehicles equipped with these rings, in order to optimize handling and performance.
  • PIRELLI Mousse are NHS (Not For Highway Service) approved: they are not intended for on-road use and should be used off-road only.
  • During installation, apply the mounting lubricant gel evenly over the entire inner surface of the tire, taking care to avoid the beads to ensure proper fitment.
  • Available in multiple sizes (45.72 cm, 48.26 cm, and 53.34 cm / 18”, 19”, and 21”), Mousse rings must be installed with the dedicated PIRELLI Mousse gel.
