  • Conventional axles use inboard CV joint heads at the axle that both provide articulation and manage suspension travel; this design limits the articulation angle to about 25° and restricts travel to approximately 1.25"–1.5".
  • On an ATV or SSV equipped with a lift kit or extended suspension A-arms requiring increased travel, it is essential to choose reinforced Moose axles featuring Voodoo Axle Technology.
  • These axles incorporate fixed inner Rzeppa-type constant velocity (CV) joints that accept up to 45° of articulation, while a solid shaft housed in the axle bore provides the required suspension travel.
  • This configuration prevents the inner CV head from separating when the suspension reaches full extension, ensuring a reliable connection at the end of travel.
  • To permit increased travel, the axles are fitted with a specially designed solid shaft that allows the assembly to compress and extend over a 2" travel.
  • The telescoping drive shafts ride on linear ball bearings that provide smooth sliding and prevent binding under load.
