  • SKF introduces an innovative solution for the most demanding motorcycle suspensions: PTFE-based composite fork bushings. Requiring no lubrication, these bushings combine the strength of steel with the low-friction properties of a self-lubricating PTFE layer.
  • The core is a high-strength steel body, coated with a sliding surface formulated around PTFE for smooth, low-friction movement. A thin bronze layer ensures excellent heat dissipation and a strong bond between the metal backing and the sliding surface. In addition, the steel backing is copper-plated to provide enhanced anti-corrosion protection.
  • Designed to operate without regular maintenance, the composite fork bushing delivers stable performance over time. The PTFE sliding surface promotes smooth fork travel and limits wear of the mating components.
