  • This kit is designed to fit a single fork tube — two kits are required for a complete overhaul of both tubes.
  • SKF Dual Compound fork seals deliver outstanding performance, very smooth operation, effective protection against water and dirt, and contribute to optimal riding quality. They are made with SKF's exclusive "Super Low Friction NBR" compound.
  • A sturdy stamped metal insert firmly supports the sealing lips, reducing fork friction while ensuring superior seal longevity.
  • The two compounds (green and red) offer complementary properties: the green section is hard-wearing and durable, providing excellent surface grip without increasing friction, while the red section is soft and flexible to conform to micro-imperfections of the tube and allow optimal movement.
  • The fork wiper has been completely redesigned and incorporates a self-cleaning open-coil spring that increases sealing pressure, improves debris evacuation, and prolongs contaminant exclusion efficiency.
  • The new open-coil spring allows mud to drain through the coil, ensuring a stable radial load on the sealing lip and optimizing contact with the shaft for smooth operation.
  • A new internal metal element, present in both the wiper and the seal, ensures the structural integrity needed to properly support and operate the sealing lips.
  • The lips have been reworked on both components to ensure maximum contaminant exclusion and better retention on the stanchion, providing enhanced protection in all operating conditions.
