  • SKF's innovative Dual Compound fork seals deliver superior performance: very smooth operation, extreme protection against water and dirt, and they contribute to an optimal riding experience. They are made from SKF's exclusive "Super Low Friction NBR" compounds.
  • Each seal incorporates a sturdy internal metal reinforcement that firmly supports the sealing lips, limiting fork friction and ensuring remarkable longevity. This internal support provides improved dimensional stability and increased reliability in service.
  • The Dual Compound design combines two complementary materials, identified by green and red colors, with distinct characteristics: the green section is resilient and durable while providing excellent surface adhesion without increasing friction; the red section, softer and more flexible, conforms to the micro-imperfections of the fork tube to allow smooth, optimal movement.
  • The seals have been completely redesigned and are equipped with a self-cleaning open spring designed to increase sealing pressure. This new spring allows mud to pass through the open coil, which ensures a stable radial load on the sealing lip and optimizes the contact surface with the fork tube.
  • The new internal metal element ensures the structural integrity required for the proper function of the sealing lips. The lips, redesigned on both components, provide maximum exclusion of contaminants and improve tracking and fit on the fork tube.
