  • Cam-style spring preload adjustable in 5 positions for quick and easy suspension tuning.
  • Some or all of the listed shocks are street-legal; check the most recent certificate for an up-to-date list.
  • Multiple finishes available: fully chrome or black covers, and chrome or black springs and end caps.
  • Made in the USA.
  • All shocks are measured eye-to-eye.
  • On XL models ('86–'15), installation may require modifying or spacing the chain/belt cover to ensure adequate clearance.
  • A shock slightly longer than stock can slightly change the rake angle and make steering more responsive.
  • A shock slightly shorter than stock can also change the rake angle and slow the steering.
  • Reinforced versions are recommended for motorcycles operated at or near the manufacturer's maximum load more than 50% of the time.
  • Before purchasing or installing shocks of a different length than the OEM, verify that wheel travel can be altered without risk of interference (swingarm/axle with the exhaust, or chain/belt guard with the tire).
