  • Various styles available: fully chrome or black covers, with springs and end caps in chrome or black finishes.
  • American-made: product assembled in the United States.
  • All shocks are measured eye-to-eye for accurate identification and installation.
  • On XL models from '86–'15, installation may require modification or the use of spacers on the chain/belt case to ensure sufficient clearance.
  • A shock slightly longer than stock may alter the rake angle and make the steering a bit quicker.
  • A shock slightly shorter than stock can also change the rake angle and slow steering response.
  • It is recommended to opt for heavy-duty applications if the motorcycle is used at or near the manufacturer's maximum load for more than 50% of the time.
  • Before buying or installing shocks that differ in length from the OEM, verify that wheel travel can occur without risk of interference (swingarm/axle with the exhaust, or chain/belt guard with the tire).
