  • A shock absorber slightly shorter than the original can also alter the rake and result in slower steering.

  • Before buying or installing shock absorbers whose length differs from the original equipment, verify that the change in wheel travel will not cause interference (swingarm/axle with the exhaust, or chain/belt guard with the tire).
