  • Some or all of the shocks shown are street-legal; consult the most recent certificate for the up-to-date list.
  • Multiple finishes available: fully chrome or black covers, and springs/end caps offered in chrome or black.

  • All shocks are measured eyelet-to-eyelet.
  • On XL models '86–'15, installing shocks may require modification or the addition of spacers to the chain/belt case to ensure adequate clearance.
  • A shock slightly longer than stock can change the rake angle and make steering quicker.
  • A shock slightly shorter than stock can change the rake angle and slow the steering.
  • Reinforced applications are recommended for motorcycles that are used at, or near, the manufacturer's maximum load more than 50% of the time.
  • Before buying or installing shocks that differ in length from the OEM, check that wheel travel can be changed without risk of interference (swingarm/axle with the exhaust, or chain/belt guard with the tire).
