  • A shock slightly longer than stock can change the rake and result in quicker steering
  • A shock slightly shorter than stock can change the rake and slow steering response
  • Heavy-duty applications are recommended for motorcycles used at or near the manufacturer's maximum load more than 50% of the time
  • Before purchasing or installing shocks of a different length than OEM, verify that wheel travel can be changed without risk of interference (swingarm/axle with the exhaust, or chain/belt guard with the tire)
