  • Spring preload adjustable in 5 positions via cam for easy suspension tuning.
  • Some or all of the shocks listed may be road-approved; consult the most recent certificate for the up-to-date list.
  • Several finishes available: fully chromed or black covers, with springs and end caps in chrome or black.
  • Made in the United States.
  • All shocks are measured eyelet-to-eyelet.
  • On XL models from 1986 to 2015, installation may require modification or shimming of the chain/belt case to ensure adequate clearance.
  • A shock slightly longer than stock can alter the rake angle and make the steering a bit quicker.
  • A shock slightly shorter than stock can also alter the rake angle and slow the steering.
  • Heavy-duty versions are recommended for motorcycles used at, or near, the manufacturer's maximum load more than 50% of the time.
  • Before purchasing or installing shocks with a length different from OEM, verify that wheel travel can be changed without risk of interference (swingarm/axle with the exhaust, or chain/belt guard with the tire).
