  • Multiple finishes offered: fully chromed or black covers, with springs and end caps available in chrome or black.

  • Each shock is measured eye-to-eye to ensure precise dimensions.
  • On XL models from 1986 to 2015, installation may require modifying or using spacers for the chain/belt case to ensure adequate clearance.
  • A shock slightly longer than the original part can alter the rake angle and make the steering more responsive.
  • A shock slightly shorter than the original part can also alter the rake angle, resulting in slower steering.
  • For heavy-duty use, it is recommended to choose reinforced applications if the motorcycle is ridden at or near the manufacturer's maximum load more than 50% of the time.
  • Before buying or installing shocks of a different length than OEM, check that wheel travel and any modifications will not cause interference (for example between swingarm/axle and exhaust, or between the chain/belt guard and the tire).
